Our Company History

SSER was founded in 1995 by Rob George and soon proved to be a major player in the creation and publishing of digital educational resources. Rob had been a teacher of Biology, Chemistry and Physics for 20 years and had always created his own educational resources. He realised that in 1995 computers were now developed enough to make digital resources that teachers could edit to match the needs of their students.

SSER was the first company to write and publish template school policies and to date these are used in over 95% of UK Secondary schools and thousands of Primary Schools. SSER also publish a wide range of highly illustrated interactive educational resources. Many of which are available from our digital download shop on this site.
